Our mission is to provide clinical guidance and education in the management of endocrine disorders, as well as perform high quality research to improve the care of diabetes in low-resource and humanitarian contexts.

Disorders of the endocrine system are rising dramatically globally with obesity, diabetes and hypertension now contributing to the majority of deaths worldwide.

Approximately half a billion people lived with diabetes in 2019, of which around 80% reside in low- and middle- income countries (LMICs).

Not only do LMICs carry the largest burden of non- communicable diseases (NCDs), but they have also been disproportionately affected by humanitarian crises.
